LENSES COMPARISON
1 Classification by coating-select according to your preference.
U1 / U2 / U6 are graded according to how many coating layer they have.
Baro Free Lens and U2 are cheaper, have less coating than the expensive U6. Most of our customers prefer U2 lens. However, if your eyes are sensitive or if you want the best protection for them, U6 lens is the best choice.
2 Classification by lens thickness (classification by compression) - Select according to vision.
1.56 / 1.60 (two times compression) / 1.65 (three times compression) / 1.74 (four times compression)
Unlike coating, the thickness of the lens is limited depending on your eyesight.
It doesn't matter if you have good eyesight, but if you have bad eyesight, the spectacle lenses with low index number will become thick, so wearing lenses with higher compression (higher index number) is good for design and weight. The range of diopter for each lens index is shown in the table.
3. Classification according to distortion Is it SP or ASP? - Select according to your eyesight and preference.
In simple terms, it means whether or not the lens design has solved the phenomenon of distorted objects.
The spherical surface is SP, the aspherical surface is ASP, and the aspherical surface is more expensive because the distortion is reduced so that eyes are more comfortable.
Those who have used aspherical lenses should purchase aspherical lenses, and it is also recommended for those who want more comfortable vision correction.
